Why does my inhaler have weak or inconsistent hydrogen flow?Updated a day ago

If flow feels weaker than normal:

  1. Check for kinks or loose tubing

    • Inspect all tubing and cannulas. Straighten out any bends.

  2. Confirm water levels

    • Both the main tank and humidification bottles need proper water levels.

  3. Check for scale buildup

    • If you haven’t descaled recently, mineral deposits may be restricting performance. Run a descaling cycle.

  4. Split flow output

    • If two cannulas are connected, remember the output splits in half (e.g., 600 mL/min = 300 mL/min each).

📝 3000 mL model note: Because of higher maximum output, weak flow is often a sign of early scaling buildup. More frequent descaling (every 4–6 weeks) may be needed compared to smaller models.
