How do I set up my inhaler for first use?Updated a day ago
Setting up your Clinical Hydrogen Inhaler for the first time is simple. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
Prepare the unit
Place the inhaler on a flat, stable surface near a power outlet.
Make sure the red power switch at the back of the unit is turned OFF.
Fill the humidification bottles
Unscrew each bottle and fill it halfway with clean water.
Ensure the water covers the aeration stone inside the bottle.
Fill the main water tank
Unscrew the stainless-steel fill cap on the back.
Pour in distilled water only. Using tap or filtered water can cause scaling and damage the machine.
Check the side viewing window for the correct level.
Replace the cap tightly.
Connect the humidification bottles
Attach both bottles to the front of the inhaler using the down-hanging tubes.
Attach the nasal cannula(s)
Single user: Use the Y-connector to combine both outputs into one cannula.
Two users: Connect one cannula to each bottle.
Power on the device
Plug in the power cord.
Flip the red switch on the back.
Wait for the display to light up and beep.
The 3000 mL model follows a similar setup process to the smaller capacity units, but with a larger tank and output capacity.
💡 Pro Tips:
When using two cannulas, the flow rate splits evenly (e.g., 600 mL/min = 300 mL/min per person).
Keep tubing free of twists or kinks to avoid restricting airflow.
The 3000 mL model provides a higher capacity flow, suitable for multiple users or longer continuous sessions.
