How do I descale my Clinical Inhaler?Updated 2 days ago

Descaling removes mineral buildup inside the electrolysis chamber. It’s recommended every 4–8 weeks depending on usage.

You’ll need:

  • Citric acid (60–70 g)

  • Distilled water (2 L for the mixture, 8 L for rinsing)

  • A voltmeter (for performance testing, optional)

Steps:

  1. Mix 60–70 g citric acid in 2 L distilled water.

  2. Open the side panel of the inhaler.

  3. Add the solution to the tank.

  4. Run the machine for 30 minutes.

  5. Drain the solution fully.

  6. Rinse the tank with fresh distilled water, running three 30-minute cycles.

  7. If a TDS (water quality) alarm persists, repeat the process.

For a 3000ml inhaler:

  • Use the same citric acid method as smaller models.

  • Expect longer drain times because of the larger tank.

  • Always run at least three full rinse cycles with distilled water before reuse.

⚠️ Always discard used solution safely and avoid skin contact.
